Unique Cumbrian Game Shooting Diary 1925 - 1940 Seasons. Hand written entries by R J Jefferson of Springfield Farm. Entitled ‘Cover Shooting’ and produced by James Bolton, Hyde Park Corner, London. The diary is full, cover to cover, with entries of Grouse, Pheasants, Hares, Rabbit and Snipe shot.

 Shooting estates of Wasdale, Kilgarron, Whitehaven Castle, Sunnythwaite, Dilthwaite, Cockermouth Castle, Castlerigg, Skiddaw, Hawkbarrow, Ennerdale, Westcroft and Rosemeath all mentioned, amongst others.
