Shipping and Delivery
We send nationally and internationally using UK Post Office, ParcelForce or specified couriers.
UK customers can buy most items online. Some oversize items are enquiry only; send us a message via the product page and we will quote for shipping or arrange a time for you to collect.
If you're not in the UK, please enquire via the product page for the item/s you're interested in. We will advise of any country-specific customs restrictions and quote you for shipping. Some oversize items cannot be shipped overseas.
Shipping costs cover postage, packaging and time. We aim to process all sold items quickly. Our policy is to pack and ship within 5 working days of receiving your payment. We obtain a proof of posting for all items processed through the Post Office and can provide a parcel tracking number on request.
We frequently recycle packaging materials including noodles, bubble wrap and boxes where possible. We also wrap larger parcels to keep items secure in transit.
Tracking and Insurance
Wherever possible we provide tracking codes so you can track your delivery online. We do not offer additional insurance other than that provided by the carrier. If you would like additional insurance to protect your item in transit, please contact us for a quote.
Oversize or Heavy Items
Some of our products are too large or heavy to fit within our standard shipping rates. Fill out the enquiry form on the product page to request a shipping quote or arrange a collection or local delivery.
Collections from our Ludlow Store
At checkout, you can choose to collect your order from our Ludlow store. We'll notify you when your order is ready for pickup.

Taxes and Customs Fees
Since the United Kingdom left the EU, buyers must check with their relevant local authority if specific customs regulations or taxes are applicable; any fees or taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Poacher’s Pocket Antiques will not be responsible for delays in delivery once shipped.

Customs regulations mean that not all of our products can be shipped to all countries. Some of our products cannot be shipped overseas — for example: glazed or heavy items, ammunition, taxidermy. We’re happy to advise.
