Millichamp Patent Field Clock Gun C1888

A scarce item of rural history, this clockwork bird scarer was patented by William Maund and Charles Millichamp of Presteigne, 3rd May 1888. Appears to be complete and functional but has not been tested, and is sold as a decorative bygone item. Has gunmaker H Clarke& Sons, Leicester brass label fixed in place of the more usual Millichamp one.
