Fine and rare C1820 Gamekeeper’s Flintlock Swing Gun.

Sourced from the fine historic collection of the Gunpowder Plot Museum, formerly of Coughton Court, near Alcester, Warwickshire. These fearsome pieces were set about the cherished game coverts by gamekeepers to warn of the presence of poachers, and were rightfully outlawed in 1827.
