Hardy Bros 16 Foot Salmon Rod
A fine condition rod from the infamous Hardy Bros of Alnwick. This rod is 16 feet long, with three sections and a spare tip section. Every section is of identical length, no shortening. Stamped with number E6542 dating it to 1948. Marked Hardy Bros patent steel centre. Reel seat marked Hardy Regd Universal Fitting and has the original butt rubber. All ferrules are marked, rings look original and are all good.
Rod carefully preserved in a bamboo tube with leather fittings inside a cloth cover with the Hardy Bros label. Sourced from the estate of a former ‘big game hunter’ and salmon fisherman, fresh to market.
